Family Challenge 2023

Yorkshire Three Peaks

On Sunday 30 April 2023 the Family Challenge is getting even bigger as a new band of climbers will trek across Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough as they take on Yorkshire’s Three Peaks.

This challenge will see those managing all three walking the length of a marathon while ascending more than if they climbed Ben Nevis.

However many peaks you manage, the sense of achievement climbers will have will be immense – the fact you will be raising money for our essential work at the same time will make you feel on top of the world!

Registration is now closed.  Do feel free to get in touch with our event partners RAW Adventures, or charity manager Phil, if you have any questions.

We will have 60 climbers hoping to raise over £10,000 towards supporting and caring for children with brain tumours, as well as creating greater awareness and helping with more research into this terrible disease.

One of the climbers is Lucas Hughes who is walking in memory of his father Ian and two brothers Oscar (who our charity is named after) and Milo, who all died from brain tumours. Read his story and donate to his fundraising page here.

We are very grateful to have the Three Peaks event sponsored by 1st Mortgage Services – a company that shares our charity’s values of family, security and people’s wellbeing.

The support of such companies is invaluable in the work we do and makes sure that as much money raised as possible can go directly to our work and we look forward to working with 1st Mortgage Services in the future.
