Yorkshire Three Peaks - Where To Stay
The Yorkshire Three Peaks is a walk like no other through some of the most breath-taking and spectacular scenery in the north of England. It is one of the UK’s most popular adventure challenges.
You will take on the three famous Yorkshire peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough starting and ending in Horton-in-Ribblesdale and taking in the wonderful Ribblehead Viaduct along the way.

You will be here to find out some accommodation suggestions for your trip. You may wish to stay Saturday night to ensure you are in the area for the early start on Sunday and you may wish to stay on the Sunday night to rest your weary legs and celebrate your achievements.

Situated close to the Golden Lion Hotel in the idyllic village of Horton in Ribblesdale the 3 Peaks Bunkbarns are available for groups or individuals. An ideal location for walking on the Pennine Way, Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough & Whernside. The main bunkbarn has 2 large dormitory style bunkrooms, each sleeping up to 20 people. In the brand new second bunkbarn, there are four bunkrooms each sleeping up to 6.

A Victorian house in private grounds, Ingleton Hostel is situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, in the pretty village of Ingleton. Surrounded by magnificent countryside with caves, waterfalls, and mountains, the area is known for its walking routes and striking caves, with a famous waterfall trail that begins in the village.

Located in Horton-in-Ribblesdale in the heart of Yorkshire’s ‘Three Peaks,’ the Golden Lion Hotel is the perfect place to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay in the beautiful surroundings of the Yorkshire Dales.

The Old School Bunkhouse is situated 4.5 miles from Ingleton in Yorkshire Dales Limestone country, at the foot of Ingleborough and Whernside, with superb views of both. The property comprises lounge, dining room/kitchen, drying room, 6 bedrooms fitted with bunk beds in each. There are 4 shower rooms with hand basins and toilets. The kitchen is well equipped to cater for 26. There is also a car park attached with space for approximately 10 cars.
