Endure 24
Summer 2022
38 runners assembled to take on the ultimate challenge in this 24 hour relay race, set in the scenic Bramham Park, near Leeds.
Billed as the ‘Glastonbury of Running’, runners set off on Saturday 2nd July at 12pm and handed the baton over to team members at all hours, finishing 24 hours later on Sunday 3rd July at 12pm.
Team members had access to the campsite, music and food area and used a dedicated area for the OSCAR’s PBTC runners to create a special team atmosphere.
There was a fantastic atmosphere across the festival, especially down in the event village with music, 24 hour catering, bar and entertainment.
The event was gruelling and very much a challenge, but worth it in terms of enjoyment, bonding and, of course, the reason everyone took part – raising money to support children with brain tumours. This year’s event raised a fantastic total of £11,500 which will be spent on support and care programmes, awareness-raising of the signs and symptoms of brain tumours and future research.
The event has been completed, but contact phil@oscarspbtc.org or use the contact form at the bottom of the page if you are interested in taking part in 2023. We are particularly welcoming corporate teams from businesses.
