Bear Grylls Survival Race 2017

In 2017 we were personally invited by Bear himself to take part in the Bear Grylls survival race

This invitation came about after Bear gave advice to all the children taking part in our Snowdon 2017 Family Challenge. He chatted to Oscar’s brother Sebastian on BBC Radio2 on the morning of our Snowdon walk.

A big group of us travelled down to London and the kids had lots of fun taking part in the survival races, as did the adults and teenagers.

Sebastian even got to meet Bear Grylls himself, along with his mum Marie and brother Lucas – creating great memories.

It was a proud moment to see OSCAR’s PBTC represented with a stand where Sebastian and his friends handed out leaflets about us  and our upcoming events and also raised awareness for The Brain Tumour Charity’s Headsmart Campaign
