The challenges just get tougher and tougher…
In January next year, Steve Hanson is taking on one of the world’s toughest endurance races – The Montane Spine Race. This is a truly epic challenge that will test his physical resilience and mental fortitude as he races non-stop along the iconic Pennine Way in the middle of the British winter.
Steve will face extreme weather, deep snow, ice, mud, bogs, ground water, storm force winds and driving rain in a gruelling, non-stop, 7-day race from the Peak District, across the Yorkshire Dales, the Northumberland National Park, Hadrian’s Wall and the Cheviots before finishing at the Scottish Borders. He’ll face tiredness, fatigue, sleep deprivation and exposure to the extremes of winter weather as he pushes himself harder than ever before, all for our charity.
Keep an eye on the website and our social channels for more updates on Steve’s training and his fundraising plans.
