Looking for a new challenge?

Join us on Snowdon for our annual Family Challenge Weekend on May 12th & 13th 2018. We’re looking for adventure loving children to climb Snowdon with their families for OSCAR’s PBTC. The challenge is suitable for children aged between 5 and 18 and we will have support on the walk via Climb Snowdon, a professional mountain leadership company.

Arrival for registration on Saturday 12th ready to walk on Sunday 13th.

Climb Snowdon will handle health and safety, disclaimers and briefings, as well as providing a detailed kit list, trip notes and discount codes for hire of any kit that participants may need. Walkers will take the Llanberis Path up the mountain, a 9 mile round trip and 4000 feet elevation.

Snowdon is the most family friendly of the UK Three Peaks. There is a cafe with toilet facilities half way up the mountain and a licensed restaurant with toilets at the summit. For families with very young children or elderly relatives who can’t walk there is a mountain railway from the start point in Llanberis all the way to the top.

All children who do the walk will be provided with a t-shirt to walk in and a medal and certificate on completion. We ask that all children who join us try and raise a minimum of £50 in sponsorship money.

To register for the walk, please fill out the form below. There’s a £20 fee per family and the charity will cover all other costs on the mountain.
